MCP Server / Claude AI Integration for GemPages

I’m asking about MCP (Model Context Protocol) — it’s a way to connect external tools to AI assistants like Claude (the AI by Anthropic).
For example, Shopify already has an official MCP server, so I can connect Claude directly to my store and it can read/edit products, collections, etc.
My question is: does GemPages have an MCP server or any API/integration that works with Claude? That way I could ask Claude to help me edit or build my GemPages landing pages directly, instead of doing everything manually in the builder.
If not, is this something on your roadmap?

    Hi @yaa dou

We are currently working on GemPages MCPs, which will allow you to connect your own AI and ask it to create, edit, and publish pages for you.

The feature is currently in internal testing, and we plan to open a beta program to a group of merchants in Q3.

I've already added you to the list and will keep you updated as soon as it's available.

    Have a nice day,

    Lucas

      Hi @Yuk lin Lam

Thanks for the input. We’ve noted it and are looking into it.

To better understand your use case, could you share a bit more about how you’d like to use Claude Code in your workflow? For example, are you currently writing custom code to adjust elements, build static layouts, or handle interactions on your store, and you’d like Claude to help with that instead?

Any specific examples would be really helpful for us to evaluate this properly.

      Have a nice day,
      Lucas

For example i am trying to switch language of my entire website and manually it takes ages to do it, where if i can ask claude code, he can change it at once for me.

Another thing is design, I am trying to change some design of my website, but i am not a graphic designer so it will take me a long time to do it, but if i can connect to claude code i can use google stitch for design and have claude code upload it to my shopify account

          Hi @Yuk lin Lam

          Appreciate you sharing this.

For the language switching case, I see two common setups — want to confirm which one matches what you’re doing:

          • Switching the entire store from English to German for a different market

          • Or keeping both languages, with separate page versions (e.g. English and German) to target different audiences with ads

Which one are you aiming for?

        Hi @Manny Jonathan

Thank you for your suggestion. We are currently working on an MCP-based approach that will allow you to use your own AI tools within GemPages. I'll keep you updated on the progress and let you know as soon as the beta becomes available.

        Nice day,

        Lucas

      Hi @Thi Dam

Thanks for sharing this idea. We’d love to understand a bit more about your expectation for “one-click” page creation with Claude AI + GemPages.

      For example, do you imagine:

      • Starting from a product URL, images, or just a text prompt?

      • The AI automatically creates the page directly inside GemPages, ready for editing/publishing?

If you have an example workflow in mind, feel free to share it as well 🙂

Hi @Cristian Daron we are planning to release this soon within next 2 weeks.

When the beta version is ready to release, we will send you and email with the guide to set it up on Claude Cowork and ChatGPT Codex.

You can leave your email in this waitlist: http://gempages.net/pages/mcp-gempages?utm_source=gempages&utm_medium=featurebase&utm_campaign=mcp

In case you want to convert existed HTML to an editable page in GemPages, the recommended model for the best output is Opus, it also understand the Gempages really well so it can help you troubleshoot the issue and make adjusted design according to your need.

One note that the tools via MCP will update directly to the database and these changes have not yet saved as a Version history for the page, so please remember:

      1. when the AI update page via MCP, please do not edit the page in GemPages

      2. and for the design you might want to restore later, please go to GemPages and hit Save button to create version history and check this version according to this guide https://help.gempages.net/articles/auto-save-and-version-history

      3. the changes made by AI via MCP do not impact the current live page, if you check the design and think it fine, you can ask AI to publish this page for you.

I’ll update you right after the feature is released.

      Have a nice day,
      Lucas
